Marsha Huey -Trainer

Hi, my name is Marsha Huey. I have been around dogs all my life. My father bred, raised and trained beagle dogs for hunting trials.
 

As an adult  my first dog was a Doberman Pinscher which I rescued.  I took her to  AKC  obedience classes and joined our local AKC club. I later trained my  two min pins and showed in AKC  obedience shows.

 I moved to Texas in 1992 and  I  got my first toy poodle, Christmas, which I trained myself since I did not know of any local trainers. I later rescued another toy poodle that had been abused and was very shy. I knew Michelle needed a lot of socialization. I heard about Lana and Gone to the Dogs Obedience School so we enrolled in the class. We kept going to the classes and Lana asked me to become an instructor for her. I have worked with Lana for 5 years and Michelle has become a wonderful and very social girl. I now own and train 3 toy poodles: Michelle, Chloe and Robby. Michelle and Chloe have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and are registered therapy dogs. Robby is a puppy and will take his test when he completes his training. He is taking agility classes and loves it! I love training dogs and I look forward to working with you and your K-9 companion.
